The Jaburg Law firm has some terrific attorneys and Ms. Paine is one of many wonderful attorneys. I highly recommend her services as well as some of the other attorneys at the firm. I previously worked with law firms in Alaska, and I'm impressed with the knowledge, skills, compassion, organization, and timeliness of her services. Thank you.
I retained Alden for a matter concerning my residency reclassification at the university I attend in AZ. I have lived in AZ for a number of years and have made it my permanent home but I was still paying out-of-state tuition at my university. I was referred to Alden because of her excellent reputation, where she has developed a specialized expertise of this nuanced residency reclassification issue with AZ universities. The applicable state laws and university regulations are difficult to understand and interpret for any college student trying to change their residency classification to "in state" in AZ. Alden understands all these laws & regulations and more importantly, she knows what evidence AZ universities consider most important in making reclassification decisions. She was a patient guide in assisting me with my reclassification paperwork and helping me with a lot of other things I did not know about during this stressful process. I'm happy to share my Petition was granted.
Maria is an exceptional attorney whose professionalism, expertise, and dedication truly stand out. She navigated my complex case with clarity and precision, always keeping me informed and explaining every detail in an easy-to-understand way. Her strategic thinking and attention to detail ensured no aspect was overlooked. What truly sets Maria apart is her diplomacy. Despite dealing with extremely difficult opposing counsel, she remained composed, respectful, and effective. Her ability to defuse tense situations and negotiate firmly yet tactfully was invaluable. Thanks to Maria’s hard work and unwavering dedication, I felt confident and supported throughout my legal journey. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, skilled, and compassionate attorney who excels in even the most challenging circumstances, Maria is the one you want in your corner.
I would like to thank Jaburg Wilk Law Firm, specifically, David Uffens and Philomena Patino, for the incredible work they did handling my case. From the moment I retained them, there was an instant relief of stress lifted from my shoulders. They took the time to understand my situation, displayed genuine empathy, and helped me navigate one of the most stressful times in my life. We were able to come up with a separation agreement that addressed many of the significant issues in the beginning that I believe set me up for success later in the divorce. From the time I retained them to when I was legally divorced, it took about 10 months to resolve. Communication was great and I was kept up to date on everything through the entire process. I knew exactly where I was at from beginning to end and if I had any questions, they took the time to explain and give me reassurance. I would 100% recommend anyone who may find themselves in this situation and would rate my experience a 10/10.

David and his team helped me through a very difficult time with grace, efficiency and expertise; working with me and keeping me grounded through all of the twists and turns during the divorce process. David and his team always kept me informed and educated, enabling me to confidently make decisions.
We needed a family lawyer that could prevent our child being taken to live in another state by her mother. David was approachable and explained in detail what to expect. He got started right away on our case, and prepared us for everything. He truly made it effortless and he was great to work with! We highly recommend him!
David Uffens came highly recommended by a close friend of mine for his exceptional knowledge and dedication to his clients. David and his team were quick to respond, empathetic throughout the process, and provided exceptional advice and support.
Alden is an excellent attorney. She is professional and a true advocate for her clients. Her level of expertise is stellar. I highly recommend her. She made the process easy to understand and she was very responsive to any questions I had.
I appreciate Alden. She was very professional with my case. My case had to prove innocence before the PPAC committee of the Arizona Board of Education. This committee recommends re-certification or termination of an educators credentials/certifications to the State Board. Throughout the process Alden's tenacity for finding facts and evidence of innocence yielded tremendous peace for my wife and I. With the defense she provided me the State Board attourney decided to cancel the hearing and close the case. I'm truly grateful for the vindication Alden was able bring about for my career, character, and mental well being during this investigation by the State Board of Education.
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
