Founded in 1999, Allen Barnes & Jones, PLC (formerly Allen Maguire & Barnes, PLC) has extensive experience representing constituents in and out of bankruptcy, including lenders (individual and institutional), debtors (business and individual), and bankruptcy trustees. Our attorneys represent borrowers, creditors, and other parties in all phases of loan workouts, restructuring, and bankruptcy, including bankruptcy litigation and appeals.

I would highly recommend Tom Allen. From the first day we walked into his office we were treated with the utmost respect. Every step of our process was explained in detail. Tom truly went above and beyond what was expected during our bankruptcy. His staff was always helpful and the follow up was great. If you are looking to file bankruptcy I would highly recommend that you meet with Tom Allen. His personality and demeanor makes the process a whole lot easier! Tom and the staff are great!

Dealing with the serious economic stress that small businesses are faced with today can be challenging and intimidating. We found Tom Allen to be extremely knowledgeable and personable. He was able to explain to us in plain English what our options were and the best strategy to save our company from BK. In a profession often likened more to car salesmen, finding Tom Allen was truly a Godsend. He's the first attorney I've found to not only bring knowledge and expertise, but honesty, integrity and honor to his profession. Thomas Allen was very professional but also very down to earth and understanding of our situation. We could not ask for more than his firm provided us with.
