Joseph D. Lento is a lawyer practicing personal injury, wrongful death accidents, uber/lyft/rideshare and 50 other areas of law. Joseph has been licensed for 18 years. Joseph practices at Lento Law Group in Philadelphia, PA and 23 others locations.
1) I went ahead and did the research to find out case law, gatherpublic records, gather all evidence on the matter, make write ups etc. Attorney did not do any of that although his job. 2) Attorney did not take action apart from calling the school and sending a fax that htey want to talk the school twice over the course of 8 months. 3) After 8 months, attorney told me that I took an aggressive approach with the school so they wont be able to pursue much witht he school. Attorney did try to talk to the legal counsel in the end however the letter that they sent to the legal counsel was drafted by me, they asked me to draft the letter, thenc omplained that I drafted a letter with 25 sentence bullet points, askedme to fixwhat I drafted and shorten it further, when it is their job to apply their case law and knowledge and draft a letterout of the 10,000 dollars that were paid to them,then claimed that theywere letting me review that letter as a courtesy
After8months of not responding and notproducing any case law or any research on their own to make an effrotand me doing all the work, Attorney's general manager emails me saying that if I email further Iwill be charged an additional 350dollars per email to be reviewed, and that their voicemails and messages are inconvenienced and getting filled. Doesnot like negative reviews and asks youto removethem whenyoupost them claiming you are defaming them even whenyou provide specifics and that what you sayis not true. Attorney asked me to draft the letter, then edit the letter,complained about the letter I drafted, made me onlyedit that letter, and submitted what I gave them effectively to the school and did not draftany letter on their ownout of the 10,000dollars or add their own research or knowledge from law tothe letter as they werepaid for, and claimed that they were allowing me to review what they would send as a courtesy althought hat is part of the agreemeent of representing me.
I hired Mr. Lento and the Lento Law Firm for representation in Washington, DC. I paid $5,000 for legal court representation, but they failed to appear for three court dates. After numerous emails being left unanswered, I finally had a conference call with Joseph Lento. John E. Groff, the "Firm Administrator" who is not a licensed attorney, was also present in this call. Mr. Groff stated the Lento Law Group will "provide a statement [to the court].” Even though he promised he would send me an email with a statement for the court, John Groff failed to follow up on his promise and remained unresponsive to my emails asking for a follow-up. I showed up to court having to tell my judge that the Lento Law Group once again have failed at entering their appearance with no explanation as to why.
