How much do you normally get for losing a thumb at work?

Answered by attorney John F Brennan (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Musilli Brennan Associates, PLLC
Loss of digits and limbs in worker's comp cases are commonly limited to scheduled damages. Is he working, has he lost income? If you are not satisfied with his representation see another attorney. If you are in Michigan call my office with details and an appointment.

You almost died but you had no injuries? How did you almost die from injuries you did not have? Maybe you were almost injured, which would mean that you almost died from injuries you almost had, but might have, but didn't.

Can I sue the guard or the company to cover my medical bills after I was pepper sprayed by a security guard while leaving a restaurant?

B. Casey Yim
Answered by attorney B. Casey Yim (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Murchison & Cumming, LLP
Did you pay your bill for the food? If not, the security guard may have had a valid reason for attempting to detain you. I doubt you will get very far w/ a claim. And, the bigger question is what damages do you really have? Any lost wages of any significance, medical billls, did you have surgery? permanent impairment, brain damage? If no, lawsuit will probably not be worth the expense.
