Can the at-fault party's insurance company require me to submit medical bills through my insurance first?

Answered by attorney Paul Bradley Schroeder (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Hirsch, Closson, McMillan & Schroeder, APLC
No, although that may be a faster way to get things paid. Ultimately, the at fault party's insurance should pay.

I was wondering if my experience at Wawa could be a lawsuit?

Answered by attorney William Joseph Stopper
Personal Injury lawyer at Stopper Lopez Law
Probably not worth a lawsuit.  That plastic device does sound dangerous and Wawa may have been negligent if their employee put it in the bag, but your nieces injury is likely too minor to warrant a claim.  Try contacting the Manager of the store and explaining what happen, there may be some form of minimal compensation they may offer.
