Can I sue the company if I found a knife in my subway sandwich and bit into it and chipped my tooth?

Remarkable. If memory serves, this is the second time I've heard of someone finding a knife in their sub. I think the other one was about two months ago. Maybe you could search other questions on this site. Anyway, go to a dentist and get a written estimate on what it will cost to fix the tooth, then make a claim against the restaurant for that amount, plus five thousand for your inconvenience. If they offer you the dental bills plus one thousand, take it. If not, take then to small claims for the maximum jurisdictional limit in your area.

Can I get money for my granddaughter if her mother was killed?

Mark A. Sternlicht

Based on the facts you have stated, your daughter's estate may have a claim for damages as a result of her death. The administrator of her estate is the person who has the right to assert the claim. If you qualify as the administrator of the estate at the Estates Division of the Clerk of Superior Court, then you will be in a position to consult with an attorney about representing you in making the claim. If your daughter was unmarried and survived by one child, that child is the person who is entitled to the proceeds of any recovery.

What do I do to get surgery, tri-level fusion and retraining?

I'm not sure why you have posted what looks like a medical question on this legal forum. I certainly cannot tell you what medical treatment would be best for you, as I am a lawyer, not a doctor. The only part of your question that seems to suggest a legal question is the comment that our case manager mentioned a cash award. Sometimes, when you are injured in an accident that is someone else's fault, you can sue and get a cash settlement. If you are injured on the job you can get a cash settlement. If you condition is not from a compensable accident, but you are totally disabled, you could apply for Social Security Disability and receive a monthly cash payment, plus a lump sum back pay payment.
