Do I have a case if I found a staple embedded in my meat, while dining at a restaurant?

To pursue a claim there must be some physical injuries in addition to the mental distress of having a staple in your mouth. However, absent some dental issue, cut in your mouth or something like that don't believe a jury would award you much in the way of damages. Would suggest a small claims case, which would cost you $50.00 to file and you get a court date within 45-90 days from filing. However, you may want to at least contact the carrier for the restaurant and see what they are willing to do for you before filing such a claim.
