Can I sue the babysitter for negligence?

Mark Joseph Leonardo
Answered by attorney Mark Joseph Leonardo (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Dordick Law Corporation
What did she do to cause the broken leg? If she was negligent in causing the injury, then yes; or if she knew he was engaging in a dangerous activity (e.g, jumping off the roof), and let it go on, then perhaps. But if your son was doing goofy stuff on his own, then you really have no claim against your sister. Since it happened at her house, her homeowners insurance should pay under the med-pay provision (usually around $5000) regardless of fault.

Can I sue a car dealer for selling a car without an airbag?

Answered by attorney Kenneth G. Wincorn
Personal Injury lawyer at Law Offices of Kenneth G. Wincorn & Associates, P.C.
The answer depends on how you bought the car, with a warranty or without ("as is"). There may be a deceptive trade practice issue.

Can I sue workers compensation?

Matthew Bruce Lewis
Answered by attorney Matthew Bruce Lewis (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Matt Lewis Law, P.C.
It depends on the circumstances.  There are time deadlines too.  I would need to discuss the details with you to figure out what you might still be able to do with this case.
