Can I sue the driver of the other vehicle even though I settled with my insurance and am I entitled to anything from them?

Answered by attorney Wayne J Wimer (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Law Offices of Wayne J. Wimer, Inc. P.S.
You can sue the other driver unless your insurance company compromised your claim against the other driver. If you signed no releases whereby you released the other party, you have the right to sue.

Can any case be made for their negligence? How do I go about it?

Answered by attorney J. Michael End
Personal Injury lawyer at End, Hierseman & Crain LLC
The short answer to your question is that the delay you write about probably did not cause injury to your daughter. In order to have a claim that can be pursued, you have to prove negligence and that the negligence caused injury to your daughter. I think you will probably not be able to prove that any negligence caused injury to your daughter.

What are our legal options if a former friend made remarks about my wife that have forced her to leave her woman's group?

Thomas C. Bulman
Answered by attorney Thomas C. Bulman (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Bulman Law Associates PLLC
No. By leaving, she has corroborated the potential veracity of the allegations. She should stand her ground in the group and verbally attack the slanderer at every opportunity until asked to leave by the other members of the group or until she drives the blasphemer to damnation.
