How would I file charges for physical injuries?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney Christian Frederick Paul (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Law Office of Christian F. Paul
If you want to file charges, you need to report the attack to the police. If you want to get reimbursed for your medical bills, lost work, pain and suffering, etc., you need to sue the people who attacked you. These are two different things. You can do either by yourself, but you ought to consult at least one personal injury attorney before filing a lawsuit. Good luck to you.

Can I sue a gas station if I fell on their property?

Answered by attorney Gregory M Janks (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Gregory M. Janks, P.C.
Setting aside whether the station has liability, if your injuries are not significant, the cost of bringing a case will make it so that it is not economical for an attorney to take the case as costs run into the thousands of dollars and you are compensated, if there is liability, based on the nature and extent of your actual injuries.

If my car was put under investigation can I retrieve items I need out of my car?

Answered by attorney Ernest Lee
Personal Injury lawyer at Lee Law Group DUI Criminal Attorneys
See the investigating officers. If the personal property is an item you need, and it is a necessary item for your day to day life, and the item is not involved in the investigation of the vehicle, and, or you, they should let you take it home. Your main concern should be to defend against the investigation and possible charges.
