Do i have a personal injury case for a dog bite and how much could i get?

Irving M. Blank
Answered by attorney Irving M. Blank (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Blank Marcus, LLC
Was this in your house? How did dog get into your house? Do you have evidence that the dog had bitten anyone before you? You may have a case, but these are just a few of the questions that must be answered before you can get an answer.

Yes, you do have a viable case. Don't delay retaining an attorney: certain evidence needs to be collected while it is possible, and you need to make certain steps in increase your chances of success (and the size of the damages you can claim).

The airbag in my car did not deploy completely, is there anything I can do about it?

Answered by attorney Robert Andrew Michael Burns (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Law Office of Robert Burns
I am handling a case somewhat akin to yours with a 2014 Chevy Cruize for which the airbags didn't deploy in a freeway rear-end collision (my client's fault) with near-frontal impact to his car 20-30 m.p.h. I am not an expert in such cases but have been investigating and hope to soon broach settlement negotiations. The literature indicates that some types and speeds and physics of some collisions don't activate the airbags, but I find that nonsense in comparison with consumer expectations. I'd note the speed and impact location of your vehicle in the collision, get that documented and inspected by an expert, and view the literature relating to that vehicle, type of impact, and recall history. A different type of airbag issue is now big in the news, i.e., the exploding airbag without a collision sending shrapnel about.
