You have not provided enough facts to answer your question. The situation is complicated because there may be multiple parties responsible for your husband's injury. I strongly suggest you hire an attorney to handle this matter.

What should they do if my parents car was hit by a drunk driver who has limited insurance?

Barry Mark Regar
Answered by attorney Barry Mark Regar (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Barry Regar A Professional Law Corporation
Did your parents have insurance on the car with collision coverage? Why have they not made a claim with their insurance company? Perhaps your parents company will repair the car and your parents can use what they get from the other insurance for payment of the deductable. Maybe they have rental coverage on their policy.

Is it legal for my employer to fire me for getting hurt on the job?

Paul L. Whitfield
Answered by attorney Paul L. Whitfield (Unclaimed Profile)

Normally they don't fire you for bringing a claim that would be retaliation which is illegal but I suppose they can fire you because you are not able to work. Your comp benefits remain. Regardless of whether they fire you.
