Is my employer still responsible for paying my workers’ compensation benefits after filing for bankruptcy?

You are receiving WC benefits from either a WC insurance company or a self-insurance plan that is funded by the employer. If the self-insurance plan is also declaring bk there is an agency that will step in to take place of s-insurance plan and you should be ok.

Back injured in auto accidant pain and suffering

Personal Injury lawyer at Andrew T. Velonis, P.C.
The other driver had no choice but to take full responsibility for the accident: there is no excuse for a rear-ender. I have no doubt that his insurance company would like you to settle the pain and suffering portion of the accident. They want your claim to go away on the cheap. Assessment of damages in a personal injury case requires detailed analysis of liability, the injuries, and the effect of those injuries upon the individual. This analysis includes application of legal principles, evidentiary factors, medical documentation, out of pocket expenses, calculation of future losses and experience in the applicable jurisdiction (in this case, Michigan) as to likely range of prospective jury awards. A "cookie-cutter" approach, a standard answer or a formula would be a disservice to someone such as yourself, who needs the help of an experienced personal injury lawyer. To answer the question properly, one would need extensive examination of all the evidence, particularly the medical records. Get in touch with a personal injury lawyer in the area where the accident happened. That is the best way to get the best result in your case.

What can I do legally to stop my 7 year old son from being bullied outside of school?

You may want to speak with your local police about the situation. You may also consider calling the children's' schools as most of them have anti-bullying policies that are enforced for bullying that occurs on school property as well as off of their property.
