Can a chiropractor be sued if I feel that I was harassed by him?

Answered by attorney David W. Craig
Personal Injury lawyer at Craig, Kelley and Faultless LLC
You should immediately contact the chiropractic association and the licensing board. There is absolutely no excuse for this type of behavior. This could also be criminal. Any unauthorized touching is a battery. This would give rise to a civil action for money and a criminal action to punish. Even if you do not pursue a civil or criminal action you still should report the chiropractors behavior.

Can I file a lawsuit if my child contracted a viral mouth infection at an apartment complex?

Paul L. Whitfield
Answered by attorney Paul L. Whitfield (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Paul Whitfield and Associates P.A.
You would have to prove that the virus was caused by some neglect of the apartment complex and that the virus was directly contracted because of that neglect. It would take some powerful doctor testimony and maybe some fancy lab work. I don't think a claim would fly unless you have the above. You would also have to prove the complex knew of the problem (or should have known) and failed to do anything to correct it. It is all uphill and expensive. I doubt if you can make such a claim successfully.

Can I sue if my DR failed to complete my surgery?

Paul L. Whitfield
Answered by attorney Paul L. Whitfield (Unclaimed Profile)
Personal Injury lawyer at Paul Whitfield and Associates P.A.
I am an expert on stomach surgery (been there, done that, got the T shirt)you have had a rough time but what you did not say in your brief memo is whether there is malpractice here. If you find a doctor (surgeon) who is willing to say there is malpractice here and is willing to testify for you, then you have the start of a case. Understand however that the original doctor will likely say you just had a bad result and he will likely get 3 or 4 of his golfing buddies to testify for him.
