What can I do about my medical malpractice case that has been going on for 7 years?

It does not make sense to me that a good lawyer would walk away from a good case. "Suden withdrawal right before deposition"? He'd need a court's permission to do that, and to get that permission, he'd have to file a petition or a motion and get a court order which would include allowing time for you to get a new lawyer. If your case is so solid, why are there no other lawyers interested in taking it on? In order to stand a chance at success, you will need a new lawyer. In order to get a new lawyer, you will have to cut out all the editorializing and paranoid speculation. Once you do get a new lawyer, you must follow his/her advice, or you will be hung out to dry.

I have never heard of such a reason for extending the statute of limitations, but feel free to keep asking, maybe someon else has a better idea.

What should I do if I am a not satisfied client of a hair stylist, paid $235.00 but hair stylists ignore me and won't give a refund?

I am in South Carolina, so this advice applies more to S.C. residents based on S.C. law. I think you should forget about it. This will not be the last time you spend money on something that turns out to be worthless. You can give an unfavorable report to the Better Business Bureau, their google profile, facebook page, etc. You could sue for a refund in Small claims court, but I hardly think it is worth it.
