The important information is buried about 3/4 of the way through your narrative, and you provide precious little of it. In order to make a claim, you have to prove that the school was negligent and that their negligence caused the accident. You have to show that they failed to properly instruct, monitor or equip the students somehow and that the accident would not have happened but for their failure. You mention that you have seen places on-line where the school might or might not be liable, and you ask what are your best options. Your option is to contact a personal injury lawyer in your area.
