Not Like Every Other Law Firm

James R. Barnes worked for a large firm for much of his career and has learned that bigger is not always better. Our firm doesn't waste effort on overstated office buildings and expensive advertising that can result in an atmosphere where attorney’s take on too many cases to pay for an inflated overhead. Instead, we prefer to focus our time, resources and finances on our clients and their needs. At the law firm of James R. Barnes, you will be treated as an individual, not just another case.

Our mission is to provide personalized service, excellent legal representation and, most important, positive results.

Mr. Barnes dedicates his practice to cases involving criminal defense and personal injury. He provides legal representation for Federal and State courts in the counties of Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton.

James Barnes and his team exceeded all of my expectations in a defense attorney. During the initial consultation James explained everything and answered my questions in a way that I understood and was amazingly compassionate and understanding to my situation. Any time I had a question or concern James’ assistant Elizabeth was quick to respond. Every phone call was answered and every email responded to. I was kept updated and in the loop at every turn. Today, after three months, I found out that my charges were dropped entirely! I could not be more thrilled with the outcome of this situation and I am so happy I decided to hire James Barnes. During the worst few months of my life, James Barnes and his team delivered reliable, communicative, compassionate, and overall excellent service! While I hope to never need his services again, If I did I would with out a doubt call James Barnes and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need of a criminal defense attorney.

Mr. James Barnes handled a case for a family member of mine. Mr. Barnes was always quick to respond to all of my questions, he was always honest and set realistic expectations of the outcome. He kept me in the loop during the entire process (I live 2500 miles from Pensacola). I can honestly say that I have worked with several attorneys in my life due to my career choice and I have never had the pleasure of working with a more professional, honest, reliable and kind Attorney - than Mr. James Barnes. I highly recommend Mr. James Barnes If you ever find yourself needing a professional Attorney.
