Ms. Diaz was critical of her client in every telephone conference. She falsely accused the client, when a retainer refund was left on the stairs at an unoccupied buliding; then cashed by a criminal. Ms. Diaz had been warned about the address she chose to drop a $12,000+ check outside the door. Is that misconduct? Is that worthy of disbarment or suspension?
Ms. Rogers libeled me in a letter to my new attorney who was replacing her firm. Her firm has not refunded the retainer balance of $12,900+ to date. She blames the client, despite email interaction advising of the correct address timely, which would have allowed to stop payment and mail the refund to a correct address. I have not received the mutually agreed amount of refund since May. It is now September 20, 2025. I am filing criminal (U.S. District Court) and civil litigation to retrieve the retainer balance to the Trust which I represent.
Very disappointed overall.
