Hired Attorney

Ms. Rogers libeled me in a letter to my new attorney who was replacing her firm. Her firm has not refunded the retainer balance of $12,900+ to date. She blames the client, despite email interaction advising of the correct address timely, which would have allowed to stop payment and mail the refund to a correct address. I have not received the mutually agreed amount of refund since May. It is now September 20, 2025. I am filing criminal (U.S. District Court) and civil litigation to retrieve the retainer balance to the Trust which I represent.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
