I almost lost my property because my attorney, Amanda Jaeger, incorrectly listed one of my assets as belonging to my ex-spouse. When I caught the mistake myself, she tried to bill me $425 to correct it. Her explanation was that it appeared that way on opposing counsel’s form — yet she never reviewed my submission before filing. I had to contact the head of the firm multiple times before they finally wrote off the charge. Their billing practices are excessive — even a short email between us or brief call costs over $400 — and communication was poor throughout. I truly would have been better off handling my own research and filings. They closed my account with a zero balance instead of refunding the small amount I had left on retainer. Overall, this experience caused me so much frustration, stress and nearly cost me valuable property. I would not recommend this firm based on the lack of diligence and accountability I experienced.

Hired Attorney Jennifer Joslin

The videos on YouTube that I have watched of this woman, are absolutely horrible. She is a master manipulator and will lie to the judge and to the court. If you want to win from a web of lies, then my advice would be to use this woman. She makes up these fake letters to read to the judge when they are not validated.

Hired Attorney Paul F. Donsbach

Please do not use this attorney. He cost me my case and I'd hate to see him do this to others. Despite repeatedly telling me we would do trial prep, he never did. Even up to the day before the trial I was asking to do trial prep. He went into court completely unprepared. The judge ignored every single one of his facts that he failed to establish. He forgot to submit the deposition before court. He tried to impeach the witness and the judge looked at him dumbfounded as she cannot impeach the witness if there is no deposition. He still charged me for the deposition. No only was the deposition worthless, it actually prepared my ex for trial. He kept advising me that the judgment could be appealed. However, it cannot. Every lawyer knows it cannot be appealed if there is no court reporter. He might have been a good lawyer once but now he just appears not to care. I think he writes fantasy novels now so he might be leaving his lawyer career behind. He didn't show up for some meetings.
