I got a terrible feeling about Mr. Steinfeld which I ignored and now I'm paying the price to the tune of a $459 charge that I did not authorize and which Mr. Steinfeld refuses to return. The charge specifically was for a telephone consultation so I could ask him a few questions about interlocutory appeals. The next day after I asked for the consult, I get a long, rambling e-mail from Mr. Steinfeld, unrelated to interlocutory appeals, to which I say thanks but that was "entirely unnecessary." Sure enough, he bills me for the e-mail as I suspected he would because attorneys are all such greedy blood-suckers. Mr. Steinfeld keeps saying he performed a service for me. He just won't say, because he can't say, that it was a service I requested! Now, I'm filing disputes with the bank and Bar complaints. Don't get involved with Mr. Steinfeld. It will be pure hell for you.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
