Jay Carmean and Rhea Tannehill represented my wayward Ole Miss son on misdemeanor and felony charges. As an attorney myself, I sought lawyers with extensive criminal defense experience and excellent trial and negotiation skills. After finding myself in an extraordinarily difficult legal situation approximately a year ago, I called one of my attorney friends in Oxford who told me, if there was a man who could help me it was Rhea Tannehill. He told me "they have been voted law firm of the year in Oxford the past two years for a reason." My wife and I just completed the purchase of our new home and Tannehil, Carmean, & McKenzie handled the closing. Not only did they make this special time in our lives more enjoyable, but the entire staff took their time to explain the process from beginning to end. All documentation before and after the closing were completed with direct consideration of my time. I hope to live in my home forever, but should I sell or buy again, I am going back to see Jay, Rhea, Matt and the rest of the team!

Having only spent a week at Ole Miss, my son found himself in trouble with the law. Not having a lot of connections with Oxford at the time, I called several lawyers. None were more upfront, honest and quick to return my phone calls than those at Tannehill & Carmean. Jay handled the case and we could not have been happier with him. Happy to say my son recently graduated Ole Miss with a clean record. Thanks Jay!

Hired Attorney J. Tannehill Jr.

I recently retained Rhea Tannnehill to handle a legal matter for my son. Rhea did an excellent job in a difficult case and achieved a favorable outcome. I found Rhea to be very knowledgable about the law as well as the practicable aspects of handling a case. He conducted himself in a professional manner during the course of his representation of my son and was respectful to opposing counsel and the court. I highly recommend Rhea to anyone seeking representation in a legal matter.

Rheat Tannehill meets the needs of the client whatever they may be. Josh Bogen is a fine litigator and Matt McKenzie is one of the few area lawyers I would trust with a real estate matter. I highly recommend TCM. Great service. Reasonable fees. Respected in the community.
