I chose Sonica because I was a person in a divorce situation with an x-partner that was unreasonable, dishonest, and uncooperative. I had started my divorce without an attorney, but my X didn't seem to respond to anything except for legal action. The process took about 2 years between mediation efforts, the divorce, and support modifications, and the courts in the county were backed up. Working with her has been nothing short of a nightmare. She plays favorites, is inconsiderate of those of us with very hectic schedules, and has been on a power trip ever since this started. She doesn’t bring anything to the table, and creates a hostile environment where nothing will get resolved. I definitely feel she is not in the right field. I had a minimum number of meetings, those have been exceeded and she still demands monthly meetings. I’m also certain she has not read the parenting plan. I wouldn’t recommend.

Sonica IS the WORST decision that was ever made on my case!! This woman should be disbarred immediately! The disservice she provided my daughter who begged & pleaded with her & told Sonica the truth about her father. The best advice Sonica could give my child, "you have no choice but to see him". Never mind the fact that my child was in imminent danger ( I provided solid proof! AND whiteness!) But that's okay, Sonica is ONLY interested in the men & the money, she made sure to stay on the case to make sure she got every penny & a direct line to the other MALE party. Funny thing, it's been 3 years and she has yet to sign off on my case???? 🤔🤦🏼‍♀️ Oh did I mention, she lied constantly & tried to gas light me & MY CHILD?? Stop using your business as a dating site!!!! You're literally putting children in harm's way & endangering the welfare of minors! You should be ashamed of yourself! My daughter is now in therapy because all of this!! BECAUSE OF YOU! There's not enough characters!!!!!!

As a Guardian Ad Litem Sonica is supposed to have children's best interests at heart. She DOES NOT. The Florida Bar deems her errors as carelessness. Her loyalties and interests appear to be with any men that she comes across. Extremely unprofessional behavior, missed appointments, unreturned phone calls, unreturned emails. Perjury within her report AND in open court. This lady knowingly put a child in a vehicle with a driver that was under the influence when they were NEVER supposed to be in the same vehicle. Sonica and the child were supposed to follow the other parent, NOT sit directly next to the father because it was a two-seater!! You should be ashamed of yourself putting children in danger to satisfy needs that are not being met somewhere else! INSTEAD OF KEEPING CHILDREN SAFE FROM ABUSIVE PARENTS, YOU'RE GIVING THE ABUSIVE PARENT MORE TIME AS LONG AS IT'S A MAN! NO MATTER WHAT THE CHILDREN TELL YOU!!!! I honestly don't know how you look in the mirror everyday!

Sonica did the greatest disservice to myself and my children. Years out and the damage she did is still impacting my three children. Her interests lie in the in the fees she collects and men...without regard to what the situation truly is. She did not listen to my children regarding the abuse they were suffering at the hands of their father and to this day we are still learning more and more. I was charged thousands of dollars for her poor services and we are still paying in tears and pain. Thank you SO much Sonica for the disaster you perpetuated in my children's lives. We will NEVER forget you.

I hired Sonica to handle a simple uncontested divorce. Something that should have taken a couple of weeks ended up taking months. She never returned my phone calls and if she was missing a document to proceed she would wait for me to finally get a hold of her (after weeks of leaving messages) to let me know that something was incorrect or missing.
