Orlando divorce attorney Marc H. Cohen has been dedicated to the service of families in need of legal resources for over 15 years. His interest in family law began when he volunteered to advocate for abused and neglected children in the foster care system through the Guardian Ad Litem program in Florida. Mr. Cohen completed a thesis in law school on domestic violence laws and is steadfast in representing clients who have the best interest of their children in mind. He has international experience and has taught ethics courses in law, business, and health care at the university level, as an assistant professor for eight years. He is well-versed on fathers’ rights, as well as women’s and children’s issues. Mr. Cohen has worked with many parents, who are determined to be involved and take responsibility for their families in the face of difficult circumstances. “I believe that integrity is one of the most important traits to have in the practice of law and life,” he said. Mr. Cohen tells his clients to hope for the best but prepare for the worst. Family law is a process, where settlement can be a good resolution, but is not always possible. “It is also important in cases with minor children to keep their best interests in mind when making decisions on your case,” he said.
