Horger, Barnwell & McCurry, L.L.P. is an outgrowth of the firm of Rosen & Horger founded in 1950. Samuel F. Reid, Jr. joined the firm in 1983 and retired in 2015. Robert R. Horger joined the firm in 1975. Robert F. McCurry, Jr. joined the firm in 1985. Catherine L. Austin joined the firm in 2013.

Horger, Barnwell & McCurry, L.L.P. engages in a general civil practice with emphasis in litigation, residential and commerical real estate, probate, wills and estates; business/commercial law, health care law, accidents, personal injury/wrongful death and workers' compensation. The firm serves clients in Orangeburg County and other surrounding counties. The firm services workers compensation defense statewide.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
