Attorney Sandra Hernandez brings both personal insight and extensive professional experience to her immigration law practice. Raised in East Los Angeles within an immigrant family, Ms. Hernandez’s firsthand understanding of immigration challenges inspired her lifelong dedication to serving families in need. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her J.D. from Loyola Law School, where she participated in the inaugural cohort of the Immigrant Justice Clinic. Upon graduation, Ms. Hernandez joined the Clinic, ultimately representing more than 1,000 clients in removal defense and humanitarian immigration matters over nine years. She managed legal teams, supervised community-driven legal initiatives, and led educational outreach for both law students and community members. Ms. Hernandez has played an active role in naturalization workshops and advocacy campaigns, and her insights are frequently sought by major media networks. Currently, she serves on the Board for the Pathway to Law School program at East Los Angeles College. Her practice is guided by strong ethical and Christian values, emphasizing honesty, diligence, and service to others in every aspect of her work.
