After my car accident I thought everything would be taken care of by the other insurance company since the accident was not my fault. It became apparent after weeks of not getting a straight answer or not being able to talk to the person who was assigned to my case (who happened to be from a different time zone) as well as being transferred to call centers outside of the US that I needed to sit down with an attorney. I was a passenger in a vehicle that was t-boned by an SUV that chose to run a red light. Luckily I was the only one who was severely injured.
