Hired Attorney

In 1991 I went through a divorce I went to Laura McCall first and she was going to charge me $2,000 and I couldn't come up with $2,000 next lawyer I went to see was John Cook I put a deposit down and in the courtroom after the judge ruled in my favor to judge also ordered my ex-husband to pay for my lawyer fees which helped me out so much that was a blessing yes I got custody full custody of my two two children I got child support every two weeks from him and alimony for a year if I had gone for if I don't ever marry again could I have gotten a full alimony checks until I remarried I don't know but that's something to think about when you've been married and then when my ex cut off my alimony check because the guy moved in John was in court with me and again ruled in my favor that I get back alimony he ruled that my ex had to go through the court system to pay it he said it killed him $4 really he owned his own business I cannot trust a man again and I won't but I trusted John Cook

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
