I filed for a slip and fall case at my job. I was at a clients home and fell down their steps. I injured my leg, neck, back and had a broken wrist. I lost my job and I could not get SSDI for after a year of losing my job nor help in other forms. Lost it all and he knew this. After 10 years he filed my case for carpal tunnel. Really this was not what I filed for but did he care no. What did he want, for me to have surgery after 10 years or to get money each month until I did get surgery.My body was not in a good position but he was more concerned about how much he could make. He settled my case for $10,000. I hope you understand I was not out there to get money but to have a life that I could continue to support my family and continue working in what I loved. But this was in over his head, he never stated as to why he did this. But it's okay. I am happy with how my life has turned out even being fully disabled. Christ has helped me heal within and out...Best of luck to you!
