I was improperly terminated from my job while on protected FMLA leave — a devastating event compounded by the fact that I had just taken short-term disability following a deeply personal situation. This law firm unilaterally breached my retainer agreement , demanding $10,000 up front on a contingent fee case then discontinued representation of me because i wouldn't pay the fee, for which by the way , I had received no settlement

This is untrue. When the firm accepts a matter for contingent representation, we accept the financial risks, not the client. As this person does not identify him or herself, I cannot say why an unfair, and untrue, comment of this kind, would be made.
