Pro Bono ServicesTime Spent on Pro Bono Work: 5%
Pro Bono work is extremely important to our system. Although most lawyers are averse to it, the work can be very rewarding. Unless the case permits the client and attorney to enter a contingency fee arrangement (i.e. personal injury cases), most consumers of legal services cannot afford to pay an attorney. And, unlike healthcare, there is no equivalent of legal insurance. We try to furnish no less than 5 hours per week to clients who are unable to pay for our services.
