Once this polite, nice mannered man gets paid, he very rarely gets back with you about your case. It is lost money; and, then you need to pay another attorney to get Mr. Vella to even speak with you if you are lucky.
I rarely write a review about anything but have vowed to make it my mission to inform the public about this lawyer. I can't even believe that in this day and age there still exists lawyers like him. He is a con man and the most disrespectful person I have ever met and his secretary Theresa is the same and so rude.
I retained him because I am going through a divorce and he was very available to meet with me and accept my $5000.00 retainer, once that was done I pretty much never heard from this man again, he returned my calls only a few times and never took any action or moved forward with my case. Every time I call the office I am told by his staff and rude secretary that he is in court. He never returns my calls...is he so busy that he doesn't call into his office to check in? I've been yelled at by his secretary. I have never received an itemized bill from him. All he's done is take my $5000.00 and give me nothing in return but aggravation.
I hired another lawyer and asked for the remainder of my retainer back and have just been lied to...as far as to say that I was told that a check and an itemized bill was in the mail to me over a month ago.
I'm writing this review to try and save another poor soul from being taken by this liar. It really leaves a person in a helpless position. I am insulted that this man feels that he can just walk all over me and I don't know how many others like this. Like I said before I can't believe this goes on in this day and age, and that he can get away with this. I want justice!
