Lynch, Chappell & Alsup has actively served the Midland, Texas community and surrounding areas since we opened our doors in 1959.

The predecessor to Lynch, Chappell & Alsup was formed in 1959 with one tax and one oil and gas attorney. Through the years, the firm has expanded to service not only its client base of independent oil operators, major oil companies and oil field service companies, but has developed a general civil and trial practice which includes, among it 5,000 clients, American and New York Stock Exchange companies, banks, real estate developers and many closely held corporations and individuals.

Mr. Stokes was able to provide the logistics of the adoption process and in the process explained all our questions before we needed to ask them.

Hired Law Firm

Worst experience of my life after a horrible loss of my last family member. Shane Stokes misrepresented himself as just an “attorney for the estate” and he did preceded to work against me for the estate as he was hired and ONLY working for my mother’s ex-husband. He continued to badger an already battered woman over the phone. Continues to try to provoke with passive assertions and lies to try to provoke an argument.. not only is this man not a good lawyer, but he’s a very terrible person imo. I have no idea why such a reputable law firm would continue to employ such a person. I will be contacting the bar about this man and the issue of the estate when all is said and done.

Hired Law Firm

Contacted lawyer in Dec 2013 and they did not even give feedback until March 2014 and by then I had already found another attorney to represent me but they still had the nerve to send me an exorbitant bill for taking 3 months to try to help me which was to late.
