Hired Attorney

In my 35+ years of dealing with attorneys, I’ve never once filed a complaint against one. Unfortunately, there’s no one like Mr. Cuenant. After paying him an initial retainer, very little substantive work was performed on my matter, no appearance was filed on my behalf, and communication became increasingly delayed and inconsistent despite the time-sensitive nature of the matter. What concerned me most was that I repeatedly requested updates and an accounting of work performed, yet no meaningful follow-up occurred until after I pursued a Florida Bar complaint and public reviews. I was also asked to send the initial retainer payment via Zelle, which I found unusual for a law firm handling serious bankruptcy-related matters. To date, this experience has caused me unnecessary stress, delays, and frustration during an already difficult legal situation.
