Hired Attorney

Only good if you want to go to mediation. Does not go to trial if not settled in mediation. You would have to hire another attorney for that purpose.

Possibly the laziest attorney I ever had to deal with, and I've spent a lot on attorneys. Hired in July 2024, Kaufman performed an hour and a half worth of hearing, and took my $4.5k An evaluation was delivered to him 11/18/2024. Kaufman performed no actions, and achieved nothing from 11/18, when it was delivered to him, until 3/6/2025, allowing the relationship with my son to become deteriorated, despite my constant begging him to schedule a hearing, so I could see my son again, like normal. 5 months, no actions. Because I became frustrated he withdrew from my case Friday evening at 4pm when I had an emergency hearing scheduled for Monday morning at 9:30am- hanging me out to dry. When scrambling for a new attorney, I find he not only did nothing for months but also didnt file any compliance reports. Devastating. If you are a father fighting to see his son/daughter, absolutely keep looking this becuase man is an incompetent money hungry, lazy scumbag.

I had a hard time trying to contact attorney. I went to the wrong court date and almost missed a hearing because of him. I would strongly not recommend him.
