Complete scam artist! Took my money and did nothing!!!! He’s currently license, suspended to practice law by the Florida bar and the Florida Attorney General. Do not use this man whatever you do there’s a Facebook group of more than 100 people he scammed. He scammed people for millions of dollars is currently under investigation for domestic abuse, never use this man. He pays to have good reviews posted.
This is hands down the worst attorney. His license is currently suspended. He has been arrested for battery. He a a fraud. He has victims support group on Facebook. HE Ripped off so many people. He is a terrible person. Any positive reviews are fake.

This attorney has now had his Florida Bar License suspended and is under investigation as of September 2025. Hurckes is NOT allowed to practice law NOR represent anyone in ANY legal case. You can look Michael Hurckes up by his Florida Bar license and see that he’s under suspension and you can also read the Supreme Court’s case that The Fl Bar has against Hurckes for taking people’s money and not providing ANY legal services. A court case does not lie. Hurckes has many judgements against him BUT he continues to ignore them and ignore the courts. Look him up HURCKES CAN NO LONGER PRACTICE LAW IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA. Look him up with the BBB but most importantly look his bar license up with the State Of Florida. Just a warning, he can not collect any monies at this time either.
Hired this attorney to help with a family law matter. He took a $5k retainer and never even filed a motion, never showed up to any hearings, and stopped responding to all communications within 2 weeks. LITERALLY took the money and ran. Then tried to charge me another $5,000 for filing a chargeback after he ghosted me for 3 months. Now I'm sueing him while fighting my own custody battle.
My experience with Attorney Michael Alexander Hurckes has been extremely disappointing. I paid thousands of dollars expecting proper legal representation, but I received little to no communication or updates about my case. Calls and messages went unanswered, and I later found out my court hearing was never postponed as I was told, causing serious issues with my case. I feel that my money was taken without the services being provided, and I’ve requested a full refund. I would not recommend this attorney to anyone looking for reliable, honest, or professional representation. They told me the cost was $5000 I’ve paid over that amount I had to block them from my bank account because they continue to pull with out any knowledge of why they are pulling out what fees no responses all phone numbers don’t work and no emails responded.
