I would highly discourage anyone from hiring Homer Bonner Jacobs P.A in Miami FL. I recently received a referral to an attorney at this firm, Antonio Hernandez (Tony) regarding a guardianship matter. I called and Tony stated he could not talk but would call me back. Over two months later, no response. I then attempted to follow up two months later against my better judgement and left a VM on a Saturday expecting I would receive a response during the following week. Instead Tony Hernandez called me back on the same Saturday. We spoke just over ten minutes as he asked me to remind him of the situation. He then explained to me that he could not work with me because “I wcould not afford to pay what he would need to charge for a case like this) before he even told me what that cost might be. He told me I was caustic when I questioned his reasoning for rejecting me and then said, “…this is Florida not New York”. What! Why should anyone wish to work with such a rude and dismissive attorney?
