I agree with other bad review. He was referred to handle my car accident case and mishandled the case. He was lazy did not get hands in and passed on most of the work to paralegal who was slow in communication because he was overwhelmed. The lack of communication with medical providers and disorganization causes me to be left with unpaid medical cost. He lied to the Florida Bar and told them he was not the attorney on the case, when all paperwork prove he got paid. I would not recommend this lawyer because of the hell I went through.
If I could give a negative 10 rating, I definitely would. Christopher was recommended by a friend to handle my divorce case and hiring him was the WORST thing I've ever done. He was never prepared for court, even showed up 30 minutes late which resulted in the judge not even hearing our side of the case. And did he submit an amendment to the court in order to get our side on record??? No!!!! He doesn't follow up at all, isn't organized, and does nothing to help your case. And if you need updates or information about your case, then good luck, because you will have to call or send dozens of emails before he responds. In the middle of my case, he tells me that he was handing my case over to one of his colleagues. In the middle of my case!!! He cleaned out my life savings in a matter of a year and did nothing to help me or my case. Stay away from Christopher Benjamin!!! He will rob you blind and you will lose everything in the end... including your case.
