Very responsive, but did not follow through. They seem to have cookie cutter trust documents that overcomplicate things when put into play. That has been the case with my fathers trust. Furthermore, they told us that any minor changes would be done without charge and then told us they had no such policy when we needed a small adjustment. Poor quality and ethic.
questions you need to ask:what happens after the death? My mother set up a trust. Once she passed in 2023. My brother was trustee. The CF told my brother in 03/2024, a letter from the CF office will be sent to the 5 beneif's in 2 weeks. It never came. 06/2023, I received a letter from the CF, about my Reservoir T. and my copy of my new EIN #. The reservoir trust is set up in my mother's name for the benefit of me. I was given a check from my mother's trust, so I could set up my Reservoir T. I contacted Vanguard. Vangaurd team came back, that I could not set up a Reservoir T. based on the document provided. Only, My brother, who is the trustee could set up a reservoir trust the way the document read. I contacted a local bank and they came back with the same answer. I finally call CF and was told I didn't have the right letter. I ended up having the CF staff and the bank mgr talk to get this set up. The letter from the Lawyer was received Dec 2024, it was a cut doc, with mistakes.
