DO NOT HIRE!!! Very short tempered, unprofessional and unknolageable to criminal cases. He has no empathy or sympathy for his clients. Terrible with communication. Had a couple of phone appointments set up with him and he didn't call at all! I was crying and emotional during a meeting with him. And he said he refuses to help me when I'm acting like that. On another occasion, he got angry, stood up and walked out of our meeting, saying he's not going to help me anymore. I can't even tell you all of the shortcomings that came up with him. It's so much.
This attorney is the worst if you are someone of color. He tried to make my son take a plea for a $12 item that was taken by mistake just because he was brown. I had to go and speak with this attorney alongside my boy before the court date to make sure he didn’t take advantage of my son whom has never even had a speeding ticket. Then to top it off, he would not provide my boy with a copy of the judgement when it was dismissed. I again had to take my son to the courthouse and request the copy ourselves. Some public defender he was. So if you are assigned him through the courts, I suggest you ask for a different attorney if you are someone of color.
Worst attorney I have ever retained. Literally refused to execute subpeanas crucial to my defense. His short comings in relation to defending me are so numerous that I wont even attempt at trying to convey them all. If you are considering retaining him, I wouldn't.
