Your attorney can leave, but should give you some explanation. Typically ,when explanations are not given it is because money is short. Your money is short so you are not a valued customer, understand?

How much time in custody for a second DUI?

Richard B. Jacobson
Answered by attorney Richard B. Jacobson (Unclaimed Profile)

The answer to your question depends upon just how high his blood alcohol content was. That provides a guideline. He can shorten the jail time by entering an approved program for substance abusers, which is generally a very good idea. The minimum is 5 days; it's usually considerably longer, especially with a high BAC. First things first: get him a skilled lawyer. Good Luck.
