Cathy was an amazing Divorce Lawyer. She was extremely communicative and patient with my many questions. My case was extremely complicated, involving custody, alimony and businesses. My case unfortunately was very contentious as well but that didn't bother Cathy at all. She was very confident in her skills and extremely knowledgeable about the law and intricacies with the PWC Court system. She was very compassionate in listening to my concerns and responded quickly. She was able to help me obtain everything I wanted out of my case. Wendy was great too. She was always available and helpful when I needed copies, documents or any other administrative items. They make a great team and I know that I made the right decision in choosing this firm and in particular Cathy to represent me.

I had a legal issues and needed both responses and legal assistance as soon as i found out. Cathy was 100% on the level that i needed her to be on as well as her staff. she was very accommodating and compassionate to my personal issue and was very formal and professional to my needs many of them being legalize questions and what my responsibility and my actions could be and are. I was very lucky to have the entire team help me during this and while i.. never want to do this again if needed i would 100% recommend them. Thank you

Hiring Cathy was a great decision! She came highly recommended by friends of friends, and it was well worth it. I was anxious about the whole ordeal, but she provided great guidance and resource materials whenever I had questions. She was very responsive, easy to meet (zooms or in person whatever was convenient) and often times had to "talk me off the ledge." She was straightforward and I trusted that she had my best interests at heart. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I am keeping her number in my pocket in case I may ever need to seek legal advice again.

Kathy Farrell was literally a life-saver for me. I have been divorced for 10+ years and at 100% SSAN retirement age, but never felt I could retire due to court-determined 'indefinite' alimony payment. I had checked with four other Northern Virginia area lawyers on my chances for getting relief with no success (one just a year ago) and dismal feedback regarding ever having it end. Kathy negotiated out of court and got me 100% relief for a date in the very near future. Between her 'listening' to my ideas and making them legally practical, she conducted back-and-forth discussion to a solution that got me results and saved me going to court and all the time and money that would have been involved. If it would have come down to going to court, she had a strategy and I feel confident she would have prevailed there as well. Kathy knows her stuff and is professional and personable to work with. I can't thank her enough!
