Kathy Farrell was literally a life-saver for me. I have been divorced for 10+ years and at 100% SSAN retirement age, but never felt I could retire due to court-determined 'indefinite' alimony payment. I had checked with four other Northern Virginia area lawyers on my chances for getting relief with no success (one just a year ago) and dismal feedback regarding ever having it end. Kathy negotiated out of court and got me 100% relief for a date in the very near future. Between her 'listening' to my ideas and making them legally practical, she conducted back-and-forth discussion to a solution that got me results and saved me going to court and all the time and money that would have been involved. If it would have come down to going to court, she had a strategy and I feel confident she would have prevailed there as well. Kathy knows her stuff and is professional and personable to work with. I can't thank her enough!

Kathy is the best family lawyer I have had dealings with in the Manassas area. I came to her after trying many less expensive attorneys and realize now that if I would have just accepted that you get what you pay for I would have been much better off. She was instrumental in my ability to reconnect with my children and convince the courts that parental alienation was in play. I will be forever grateful to her.
