Beth Chevez is a competent attorney. She worked extra hard forme. Working on my case on the weekends. I remember several times talking on Sunday.she also kept her billing very reasonable. She went to bat for me after beinghanded my case when my first attorney left the firm. We ended up winning and evenif we would have lost I would be leaving the same review. Not sure how she can claim to have been practicing for 7 years and know so little. Don't waste your time, effort or money. Let's just put it plainly, the law firm issued a refund.

I hired this attorney for my son's child custody case. The first red flag was he was told he didn't need to be at the first hearing. He did in fact need to be there. She didn't do anything until we got there an hour or two before the case was to be heard. She literally picked up a piece of paper and asked my son what she should ask the ex. A competent attorney should KNOW what to ask! And the file she had was just the screen shots my son had sent in. Then when we told her we were unhappy and wanted some kind of refund. She has the Kohona's to send another bill stating we owe more money. For what???? She already got $5,000, for the $50 worth of work she done. She lied to her firm and said her and my son had come to an agreement...all the while she was sending his calls to voicemail and ignoring him. She then knocks $80 off the bill where she OVERCHARGED for travel. I think it was far more than travel that was overcharged. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE WE DID!!!!!

Beth Chevez is incompetent as a lawyer, lazy and lacks common sense. My experience with her was awful, she didn't even know how to put paragraphs together or use the correct terminology, like MR. or Ms. She changed key words around to benefit the defendant. Take my word for it, if you are assigned Chevez as an attorney, RUN to a different law firm !!!
