Attorney Veliz and his support staff were very professional and kept me informed throughout the process of my probate matter. I felt confident in the manner in which my case was handled and Mr. Veliz would personally address any concerns or questions that I would have with regards to my case. I would definitely recommend his office to any colleagues in need of representation concerning probate.

He is an extremely competent lawyer and a warm person. He was very warm during a difficult time.

Average. Not really complaining but also can't be jumping with joy to be honest with you all. In my opinion I suppose you get what you pay for. Potential clients should pay attention to opinions of past clients not his fellow lawyer colleagues 'cause they could be friends or be exchanging favors with him like a quid pro quo kind of thing.

He sounds good in initial consultation but it all went downhill after I signed up. Just didn't deliver the results I wanted or expected. Maybe he's too old now in 2023 to compete with younger, aggressive attorneys on other side of the case. Choose your attorney carefully-- do your homework.

I use him for a divorce/custody matter in 2022 so I'm giving you a fresh review because I assume you want to know how he performs now, not how he was 10 or 20 years ago. I was disappointed! When I hired him, I thought he would be a stronger attorney, but near the end of the case his skill sets and initiative to win kind of fizzled out so I was stuck with him and a bad result in my case. I suggest you do some serious homework before you hire an attorney. In the initial consultation he sold himself really good, but in the end he proved not to be the strong attorney I needed.

He appeared like a nice guy in free initial consultation, but it all went downhill after I gave him money. Maybe he was good a few years ago, but he's old now and can't be as aggressive for clients competing against the young aggressive energetic attorneys in their 30's and 40's....if you want to win in a divorce case I think you have to go with a young aggressive lion so you can fight fire with fire and have at least a shot at winning your case

Choose your lawyer carefully. you really only have once chance to bat. I wanted to go to court, he wanted to settle. I think he's scared to go to trial. I asked him exactly how many cases he has taken to trial, and he only said "the majority of my cases are settled" before trial. So I was stuck with him, and a bad deal forever. I couldn't hire a second attorney cause the second attorney would have taken the case but would have had to charge me to start over almost from the beginning, and like most I didn't have lots of cash to spend. Choose your attorney carefully cause you are pretty much stuck with the first attorney unless you have lots of extra cash just sitting around with nowhere to go.
