Hired Attorney

Do yourself a massive favor and hire someone else. I wired Jessica Chery a $4,000.00 retainer in December 2025. For the next three and a half months, she completely ignored all of my emails and phone calls. When she finally submitted my paperwork, she failed to actually file a Notice of Appearance to legally represent me on the court docket. Because she submitted documents without legally attaching her name to my case, opposing counsel rightfully ignored the filings. She also entirely failed to hire a process server or get a summons issued, meaning the opposing party never had a legal obligation to respond. When I terminated her for cause and demanded a refund, she tried to claim her failure to legally appear on my case was just a "minor deficiency." I had to step in and represent myself Pro Se to fix the procedural nightmare she created. Save your money and find an attorney who actually understands Florida court rules.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
