I had nothing but problems throughout the closing process. Communications were terrible, from the first contact, up until the closing date, through the closing, and with matters that remained after closing. Legal documents that were to be provided to me, are still not in my possession. I've also received several "Notice of Termination" letters from my Homeowner's Insurance company; funds that were paid at escrow, four-weeks ago today, STILL have not made it to the insurance company.
If I could give a zero I would. They were doing the closing for the buyer and screwed the thing up from day 1. 2 days before closing "found a mortgage" that I had already told them about and gave them the payoff and who/how to send it information 2 weeks before. They send a mobile notary to handle the closing paperwork, he thought he was notarizing a quit claim deed and had no idea it was a closing. Nobody had the paperwork for the closing. It had to be emailed to my realtor as we waited. Dates were still 2021 on the deed and other documents, not legal and can't just be initialed as they suggested. Gave the notary a voided check for my proceeds to be wired to my account which he faxed to them. Next afternoon I get a call from them that they're mailing a certified check "tomorrow" so I have to sit home a couple days from now waiting on my money (almost $300K) and "I didn't know it was supposed to be wired." Right now a woman has possession of my $615K property and I don't have a dime.
Charles David Johnson was a special Master for LAKE COUNTY and without considering the law, gave a biased decision to pacify the County from which he got paid from. ATTORNEY WHO DOES WRONG THINGS FOR THE MONEY SHOULD BE LOOKED IN TO. The attorney like Chuck Johnson destroys the legal system and puts the legal system in disrepute. Citizens like Dr. Usha Jain have to run for a Governor because of these kinds of corruption. God bless America!!!
