10-15-15 I have been in a legal battle over a probate matter with my sister's daughter and my brother's xwife. My wife, and I were being sued in Dekalb County Superior Court in a suit filed in May. The conflict has been going on for over two years when my mother died. Last Friday about 6pm, my attorney telephoned me and advised the Presiding Judge had emailed him and the plaintiff's attorney to advise she was dismissing the suit against me and my wife. I believe my attorney presented the defense so thoroughly that the Judge was absolutely convinced a trial was not necessary and maybe she wanted the plaintiff's and their attorney to "have a nice weekend". I couldn't believe the Judge had gone to that much trouble on a Friday evening. I do appreciate the Judge making my weekend. The actual order should be put on the Judge's desk by tomorrow by my attorney. If you live in Georgia and want an honest, ethical attorney who knows his stuff, I can highly recommend Mr. Hughes and his staff. You can talk to them and they listen.
Mr. Hughes is very knowledgeable in wills and probate. He was very upfront and honest concerning my situation. I highly recommend him in this area of law. Mr. Hughes did a very professional job even if the outcome of the situation was not 100% in my favor.{para}{para}{para}{para}{para}{para}
Working with Robert W. Hughe's firm has been an absolute nightmare. Despite numerous attempts to get in touch with them, our firm's emails and calls are consistently ignored. It's extremely disheartening to feel that our case is not valued and that we are treated as if we don't matter. The communication is beyond poor; they would occasionally engage with us, only to go silent for weeks at a time. This lack of responsiveness and accountability is simply unacceptable. If you need an attorney who is reliable, responsive, and genuinely cares about their clients, I strongly advise staying far away from this firm. In short, working with this firm has been a huge disappointment, and I would not recommend their services to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and find a firm that will treat you with the respect and attention you deserve.
Shame on you for participating in a scheme. You lied to me to get me to pay you a retainer. You participated in a scheme. You are anything but reputable, your a liar and thief. You took my money and did nothing for six months ,you prejudiced me. No one should trust you....................... I don't know who you have posting these positive references online you and I know what you did and what you really are..................................
Unfortunately Mr Hughes took a position to the adverse of his client, and participated in a scheme that caused great harm to his client. Don't let the reviews online fool you. I experienced the true colors of this man........
