About Grua, Tupper & Young, P.L.C.

Grua, Tupper & Young, P.L.C. traces its history to three long established Lansing Law Firms. Originally founded in 1950 by former Michigan Governor, Kim Sigler and his legal advisor, V.C. Anderson, Anderson Carr and Street developed when Leland W. Carr, Jr. and Cassius E. Street, Jr., became partners in 1952 and 1958, respectively. Remo Mark Grua associated with the firm in 1976. For many years they served as legal counsel for Michigan State University. In 1996, Street and Grua merged practices with Maire & Young (Jonathan Maire and Timothy) to form Street Grua, Maire & Young, PLC. Gerald McDonald became an associate, James S. Jamo, formerly a partner in the respected firm of Denfield, Timmer & Taylor combined his litigation practice following the appointment of one member of his former firm to the Michigan Court of Appeals (and subsequently the Michigan Supreme Court) and the retirement of the two other founding members. Mark C. Harper became a litigation associate in 2001. Stacy Petroff Seidel joined the firm in 2004.

Grua, Tupper & Young, P.C. clients include various churches and non-profit organizations. We also represent numerous brokers, developers and owners of commercial and residential real estate.

Hired Attorney Mr. Remo Mark Grua

i have known and dealt with atty Mark Grua for many years. Several things one needs to know about this fine gentleman/lawyer is he is the best. he will always taken the time to ensure one completely understands what is going on with your case and takes the time for you, his client, to feel comfortable with what is going at all times. not ony is he one tough but gentle but his staff is #1 and always there to assist in anyway needed. You will not find a more honest and caring atty. he is the Best !!!

I consulted with Brian Lum over the course of a couple weeks and had him review some documents related to a real estate contract where the buyer defaulted on the contract. Brian was great with his responsiveness, willing to meet on short notice, and provided insight into the law.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
