Attorney Wendy Chan graduated from Pace University cum laude with a B.A. in History and Minor in Philosophy in 1998 and obtained her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2008. Wendy concentrates her practice in the areas of child custody, child/spousal support, divorce, deportation defense. In addition to her law practice, Wendy has also been an Adjunct Professor at Harrisburg Area Community College where she taught Paralegal Studies courses such as Legal Research & Writing and Ethics. Wendy believes that community service is a moral obligation that should be fulfilled by all. In addition to being a member of the Women’s Republican Club of Lancaster County, she also volunteers her time at Sacred Heart School of Lancaster, as well as Wills for Heroes. Wendy routinely accepts pro bono cases referred to her by MidPenn Legal Services. In the past, she has also volunteered with the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund and the YWCA.
Attorney Wendy Chan has been awarded Martindale’s Preeminent Award the highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of her peers (attorneys and judges) rank her at the highest level of professional excellence for her legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
