Hired Attorney Wendy Chan

I spoke to several different lawyers before finding Wendy Chan. After meeting with her for the very 1st time I knew I was in the best hands I could possibly be in. Every other attorney fed me false hope and were extremely unrealistic in regards to my upcoming hearing for custody. From day one Wendy Chan explained it exactly the way it was and did not sugarcoat anything. There was no false hope given and based on the other reviews I knew she was beyond capable of helping me rescue my daughter from the toxic environment she was in. In court Wendy was nothing shy of absolutely amazing. She is involved emotionally as well and she truly cares for the well being of the people she is representing. Also, in court she alleviates all the stress that you could have possibly had by taking charge and essentially directing traffic in there. You do not have to think about anything you just answer her questions and she does the rest. This woman is a wonderful person. Thank you so much Wendy.

Wendy is a very nice and thoughtful lawyer. The problem is that she does not have the back of the office support and time to individualize the needs of her clients. During my time as her client several very important deadlines and commitments were missed due to errors from her office. I even missed a court hearing once because she was on vacation and her office missed the appropriate paperwork. I am sure she is competent in most matters but if your case goes beyond something simple I would highly advise seeking legal counsel elsewhere.

After I made the mistake of paying Wendy $8k retainer i experienced what qualifies to be the worst lawyer experience which made me decide to dig deep in her very questionable Google reviews as they didn’t match with my experience, I saw the 5-star sales pitch reviews (while some sound legitimate they’re from years ago when she was cheaper and maybe nicer I know because I contacted their owners) then read her Yelp reviews where they are very strict with suspicious sales-pitch reviews (to some of those fake reviewers she answers as if they were real people!)
